AGRICULTURAL ORGANISM

Our approach to biodynamic agriculture is based on the idea that the farm is a unique, interconnected organism independent and autosufficient where land, vegetation, animals and men are in perfect harmony.

We feel caretakers of our land. We work on a daily basis in total contact with the land that surrounds us observing the intimate processes that are part of nature itself.

Our aim is to produce all that is needed within the farm itself.
In order to do this we have introduced an appropriate number of animals, minerals and vegetable; like a living organism all the elements involved cooperate to mantain health and productivity.

We actively work to enhance natural processes and firstly the biondynamic activity and fertility of the land. Legumes, “sovescio”green manure and compost, that will spark and implement the natural fermentation process and the use of biodynamic solutions are all part of this awareness that pursues the perfect equilibrium between atmosphere and humidity of the land.

The social cooperative Il Fermento completes the whole by nurturing human complexity and relationships between those involved.
